“It’s a campus many are calling a hub for the community — Southfield Public School’s Stevenson Elementary is putting students and family first.
Long-time education and principal Tonya Hickman said Stevenson Elementary School is doing something innovative this fall. They’re launching the Ira Land Family Clinic at the school.
”It was important for us to have a health clinic on campus because we look at educating the whole child,” Hickman said. ‘And when you look at educating the whole child, if the mental health and the physical is not taken care of, we won’t do much educating.'”
