Strong Collaborative Relationships for Strong Community Schools Brief by National Education Policy Center

(Excerpt from Executive Summary by Julia Daniel of the National Education Policy Center and a Ph.D. candidate in Educational Foundations, Policy & Practice at the University of Colorado Boulder.)

Community schools have gained attention as mechanisms to bring about equitable access to high-quality educational resources, extended learning time and opportunities, integrated student supports, and collaborative engaging relationships with parents and communities.
