Teacher Voice: How Unions Support Community School Initiatives

December 18, 2012

Recent events have highlighted situations where school districts and teacher unions have clashed on the best way to reform education in their community. The Community School strategy, however, is one education reform that is uniting unions, district administrators, and community members. On this webinar national and local leaders will explain how union representation in community school leadership teams can help teachers perform their jobs more efficiently and effectively. Teachers know their students and families needs and strengths and serve as a critical part of any successful community school.
