In Lincoln, NE, more than two dozen schools currently function as community learning centers. The CLC model in Nebraska operates on the following six “CLC Operating Principles:” Collaboration, Integration [of services], Lifelong Learning Culture, Outcome Focused, Community Leadership, and Neighborhood Based. Lincoln’s Community Learning Centers provide a delivery model to support students, families and neighborhoods as they strive to be successful, thriving, and strong. CLCs are about the process of people and programs working together to create a culture of learning that serves our entire community.
