Here are a few ways that Coalition members and others can
participate in the campaign:
- Encourage media outlets (television, radio and print) to run
the ads. Use any and all media connections that you have. Be sure to
tell them why this message is important for your community
to hear. Download the
Campaign Press Release.
- Tailor some of the ads to specific locales or to your own
organization. Add
your logo, a local phone number or website.
- Use the 60-second television spot at local community meetings
or run it in a continuous loop at your organization's annual conference.
- Post campaign banners on your website. Click here
to see how!
- Build a local public relations campaign around the ads--for
example, get them on drive-time radio and then arrange for your
newspaper to write a story about your community schools.

facts about the campaign, read Strategies for
Success: Making the Campaign Come Alive in Your
Community.
If you have any questions on
how you and your community can participate in the campaign, please post
them on our Ad Council
Campaign Discussion Forum or call Hayin Kim at The Children's Aid
Society, (212) 949-4377.
