Lincoln Community Learning Centers Win Award

Congratulations to Lincoln Community Foundation on receiving U.S. Housing and Urban Development and the Council on Foundation's inaugural Secretary Award for Community Foundations.
 

The Foundation’s support has been an integral part of the success of Lincoln’s Community Learning Centers, the city’s community school initiative.
 

"Through the development of community learning centers (CLCs), Lincoln Community Foundation is creating lasting and positive change in Lincoln" said Derrith Watchman-Moore, Regional Administrator for HUD in a statement released by the agency. "CLCs support and strengthen neighborhoods and serve as foundations to address safe, affordable housing, affordable quality childcare, workforce development, and accessible health care."

 

The Coalition is a proud supporter of Lincoln’s Community Learning Centers and have been involved with its tremendous growth and success since its formation 11 years ago.
