 Calling All Community School Coordinators,
Initiative Leaders, and Community Partners...

 EPFP Wants You!

As a leader and champion for education and equity in your community, you understand the social context of your work better than anyone. But, do you have the skills and confidence to communicate with policymakers about the conditions for successful schools and communities? Are you looking for opportunities to expand your partnerships, develop your professional network, and grow your personal leadership abilities to create more effective public policy?  The Education Policy Fellowship Program (EPFP) builds the capacity of leaders in and across the education field.

The Education Policy Fellowship Program (EPFP) is currently recruiting participants for the ’18-19 Fellowship year. EPFP is a 10-month professional development experience delivered in partnership by the Institute for Educational Leadership and 17 site partners.

Take your initiative to the next level by learning about policymaking and implementation processes; the interface of local, state, and national policies; and the practices effective leaders use to function in the policy environment. Fellows learn with and from each other during regular meetings, while in their full-time positions.

Our cohort exemplifies our hallmark feature because Iit highlights cross-institutional diversity, school and district leaders, two-and four-year college, faculty, staff, and administrators.  Many participants are leaders in diverse sectors including community-based organizations, state-level nonprofits, and government agencies. Upon graduation you will join an alumni network of 9,000 leaders across the country!

Applications are now open! Find your local site here and apply today!
