Engaging Instruction

Engaging Instruction

Community schools offer a personalized curriculum that emphasizes real-world learning and community problem. Opportunities and supports inside community schools are tailored to remove barriers that prevent a student from learning while also instilling the skills they will need for the 21st Century.
Community schools are using partnerships with environmental organizations, local higher education institutions, businesses, and others for educational activities such as urban gardening initiatives, internships, mock banking lessons, and much more.
